Photos: Jean & Catherine Simons Family Reunion - Batch 3

After the group photo, we had a few activities. Jim and Russ were team leaders and chose a wide variety of family members for their teams. The first relay, the teams had to put flippers on, run to one end of the lawn, fill up a small bucket, then run back with the bucket over their head (flippers still on), and dump the water into a bucket. First bucket filled, won the points for the game.

A few shenanigans are to be expected when it comes
to water games, flippers, and Chris. 😉

Good water conservation method

Next up was a relay that began with the four-man skis...

Ready to Roll!

They went across the yard to the fence, where a packet of puzzle pieces was hanging. Once they picked those up, they returned to the finish line.

After crossing the finish line, other members of their team played frisbee golf to get the next packet of puzzle pieces that were in the fribee cage...

Once they crossed the finish line with all of their pieces, the entire team began to put the puzzle together.

Thanks to Robbie for cutting the
puzzles for us. ;)

The next activity was a water-balloon toss, where even the littlest were able to participate.

Thanks to everyone for being such good sports, and participating and having fun together. It was great to see everyone working and playing together.

Photos: Jean & Catherine Simons Family Reunion - Batch 2

We have so many great photos to share, thanks to Bob, Cindy and Jeana. Today's post will include the photos from the beginning of the reunion. While everyone was arriving, we had a few activities, including a "5-Minute History" that each of the descendants filled out. They also took an Instax photo and attached that to their history. We'll be sharing each of those histories here on the blog after we get through all of the photos, and then we'll keep the histories in the reunion binder.

We are so grateful to each of you who contributed in a myriad of ways to the reunion day. So many offered help, and we gladly accepted it! In fact, we used some of you to the point where we're not sure if you'll be stepping foot back into Utah again. 😏 Thank you, thank you, to all... from the bottom of our hearts! We know everyone is very busy and it means so much to us that you took time from your busy schedules to help wherever it was needed, and also to attend. We love you!
