And if you are a child of Budd or Jerold Simons, she is your great-great-grandmother. William Thomas Nelson is a son-in-law of Mercy Melinda (he married her daughter, Clarinda). The child, Max William Nelson, is Mercy Melinda's grandson, and was born in 1917.
